Privacy

Stewbert is a meal-planning service run by Caterbum, LLC in North Carolina. This page says what we keep, why, for how long, and who else sees it. It is written to be read.
What you give us
- Your sign-in. Today an access code; soon your Google account's email address and name, which we use only to tell your kitchen from someone else's.
- Your household. Who eats, allergies and dislikes, time limits, equipment, your store and delivery window, and anything else you tell Stewbert in conversation.
- Photographs. Your pantry, fridge and delivery, when you choose to send them. They are read into a list you correct. We keep each photo for 30 days and then delete it.
- Your plans. Menus, shopping lists, what arrived, what you cooked, and your after-dinner notes. These stay until you delete them, because next week's plan starts from them.
What we never collect
Prices, totals or payment details. Stewbert never sees a price and never places an order. Checkout happens on the store's own site, under that store's privacy policy.
Who else sees it
- Anthropic runs the AI model that holds the conversation and reads your photographs. Your messages and photos are sent to Anthropic to do that, under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit training on your data.
- Instacart, when you open a shopping page Stewbert built. That page carries only the plan's name and its ingredient lines. What you do on Instacart is between you and Instacart. Stewbert may earn a commission on orders that start from one of its pages.
- Kroger (Harris Teeter and the other Kroger stores), only if you choose to link your Kroger account so Stewbert can fill your cart. Stewbert stores the permission you grant, encrypted, and you can unlink at any time.
- Google Cloud hosts the service and stores your plans and photographs in the United States.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Your choices
You can download everything Stewbert holds about your household as a single file, and you can ask us to delete your account and all of it. Write to readysetdata@caterbum.com.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, Stewbert will tell you the next time you sign in.
